The Universe, Life and Humanity

No Academic Team Leader at the Moment

The department of the Universe, Life, and Humanity — perhaps the three most important phenomena that confront human intellect today— seeks a better understanding of the following questions: how did the universe come into existence? How old is the universe? How large is the universe? What is the future of the universe? How did life begin on earth? Are there other lives in the universe? What is the future of life on earth? What is the origin of humanity on earth? And, what is the future of humanity?

This Department is concerned with the study of the universe, life, and humanity in the widest context possible by delving into modern disciplines associated with these phenomena such as the ‘Big History’ concept, which is concerned with the study of the history in entirety — from the beginning of the university into the future.
